Jeremy Lovell,
freelance reporter on environment, politics and the arts.

About me:

I have been a reporter for more than 30 years, the last 23 of which were with Reuters in various parts of the world.

During my career I have reported on and written about a multitude of people, issues and events.

But a recurring theme has been the environment and, more recently, climate change.

It is a personal interest that has become a speciality.

Since leaving Reuters at the end of September 2008 I have written for Environmental Finance magazine, the British Wind Energy Association, the Brussels-based environment and energy newswire MLex-E3 and contributed to a book for the U.S. Department of Energy.

I have also worked with the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, helping to train reporters from developing countries in the vagaries and complexities of writing about international climate change negotiations.

It is an especially important area in 2009 with full-fledged negotiations on a new global climate treaty due to be completed at Copenhagen in December.

My past work has been published world-wide due to Reuters. It can also be found all over the Internet.

I am now available for freelance commissions on all things environment -- as well as much else.
